positiveSOUL productions is proud to announce the release the official debut album by Al Campos & his band entitled, Old School Lovin.'

Al has put together one of the most soulful bands in Denmark with musicians from Los Angeles, Copenhagen and Sweden.

The music is a mixture of soul, r&b, funky jazz and a touch of latin rhythms.
Produced by Daniel Fridell and Al Campos, the entire collection of 11 songs has been sent to Memphis, Tenessee for mixing & mastering at Willie Mitchell's Royal Recording Studios.
Boo Mitchell will mix the 11 song collection. Willie Mitchell will act as mixing supervisor. All final mixes will be approved by Willie Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell is a legendary soul artist and producer, also known as producer & arranger for the incredible Rev. Al Green.

Gospel/inspirational

Al Campos is very deep rooted in Gospel music. He was born into a Gospel family. His first introduction to Gospel music was through his mother. Herself a fantastic vocalist, she recorded and toured with the original group called, "The Messengers," since the 1950's. Today she is still singing Gospel with the Shepherd of the Hills Choir.

Al has toured throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Poland and Scandinavia as a choir director, musical director and lead vocalist.

Some of Al's credits include: Andrae Crouch, Edwin Hawkins, Richard Smallwood, Kefas Gospel Choir (Denmark), Lamar Campbell, Ricky Grundy, and others.

Al's personal message: I was talking to my friend & uncle, Andrae Crouch not too long ago. I mentioned that I was thinking about moving back to the US, he asked me, "Al do you really think that the US needs one more Gospel singer?", of course the answer was NO. He said, "God put you there in Europe to bring the Gospel music to them, now be obedient." What can I say other than, if you would like to have me as a Gospel instructor and vocalist for your choir, church or community, please do not hesitate. I'd come in a heartbeat.

Al Campos has worked together with countless artists and producers over the years. He has recorded on over 30 CD's as a vocalist and backing vocal arranger. Al has an incredible 4 octave range with a falsetto like the main man, Phillip Bailey. Don't forget that he can blow the trombone too!
