Solo Project

Al started writing songs back in San Francisco, CA in his North Beach apartment in 1984. Not having any knowledge of writing lyrics or playing the piano, or even how to record, Al went ahead and began teaching himself how to play, sing & record his own ideas.

This led to his very first recording, a cassette tape release entitled, “True Believer” in 1984.

26 years later in 2010, Al Campos is writing material for his SoulHarmonic project but also his own “solo” project.

Al Campos is currently writing and recording songs for what will be a 2011 release of his 2nd solo artist release.
